Your job description

Within one of our Practice Groups, you will develop innovative consulting approaches for strategy and transformation. In interdisciplinary teams with a national or international project focus, you will take over the management of several strategy projects, and inspire and encourage your team. As a thought leader, you will be instrumental in building and developing your unit, as well as internal strategy initiatives. In addition, you will have the opportunity to actively get involved in the project portfolio for one of our Group brands or companies (e.g. Audi, Skoda or CARIAD) as a key account.

Working as a coach for younger colleagues – especially in the transfer of methodological knowledge – is an essential part of our culture and will be an important role for you. We will also expect you to lead one of our internal initiatives for the further development of Volkswagen Group Consulting in addition to your projects.

Your profile

At least 5–7 years of consulting work (including 3–5 years in a leading strategy consultancy)
Enthusiasm for the mobility industry – ideally professional experience in the automotive industry
Leadership personality with a cooperative and friendly team spirit
Structured and solution-orientated work ethic with an eye for what matters
Sound project management and leadership experience
Persuasive communication in both German and English

How did you join us?

It was actually a coincidence. I got to know Volkswagen Group Consulting consultants on a project we were working on together. I realised that their work had nothing to do with the clichés I had in my head.

What was the reality like?

Really different from what I had imagine beforehand. I found many young, highly motivated colleagues here. There was not a self-interested mentality, but rather a work ethic that was always geared towards the common solution of problems.

Honestly, were you a workaholic?

Sure, we had to work hard sometimes. But it was fun, well mostly anyway :). And, as a rule, I was able to schedule my working time flexibly, which of course helped me a lot as a mother.
